I am a very heavy user of Amazon and the free apps and video's that Kindle offers.
Sometimes an app has value that is added that justifies the extra $$ of monthly subscription.
I feel that this app justifies the 5 bucks a month for the service. I did not even try the free version.

I prefer free, and am willing to pay if there is extra value that I use. I cannot justify XM radio
for the 2 channels that I would use. The 5 bucks although not much, in today's world of free everything,
becomes an issue with some. The developer sweetened the deal with the ability to mix atmospheres with your
favorite music. For me.... this is worth the extra value. I had a rain app for 99 cents that I mixed with
my Grace radio and sort of cobbled together the same experience. This app does it very easily.
Sometimes I want rain... sometimes I don't... It is nice to be able to choose. I also like the
choice of music. I would not call this a hard rockers app.

If you like elevator music, classical music, guitar piano type things this may be an app to consider.
I used to listen exclusively to Pandora but got tired of the forced interaction. I also got tired of
being forced to listen to music and then penalized for rejecting it. BUT... it was free.
There was not enough value for me to pay for it. I hate ads. I would not have TV without my PVR.

Support....
IMHO, the support is first rate. I saw 2 bad reviews and did a cut and paste and sent them to the
developer before I purchased the app. I think they were either mistaken or did not take time to
check out things completely. I had an answer within 30 minutes... perhaps I was lucky?? The support
was first rate and I like the product very much. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Finally, I think I have downloaded and tried every app that was offered for the Kindle. I also have purged about 95% of them from my machine. It is not that they were not good.... but I just did not want to clutter up the Kindle. Perhaps it it were and IPad, I would have kept more. I am very jealous of the limited space on my device and I feel that this app justifies the price and the space.

Final caveat.... I DID MY EVALUATION having never run the free version. I was impressed enough after looking at the web page and the support that I got I signed up for a monthly try. Also, it is extremely easy to opt out if you don't want it. There is no looking in buried menu's or an 800 number to call that never answers. The cancel service is a very easy to find radio button on their web site. I am cautious, so I only signed up for one month. Next month I am going to extend for a year and get 2 months free.
