Great , accurate

1a:T6c5,I wanted a new world atlas for some time, and was very excited to buy the latest National Geographic Atlas of the World. I was quite surprised to realize that the most recent National Geographic Atlas of World was a 2019 edition. There is no way of telling when the next National Geo atlas will be published (although, based on past editions, it should be published again in 2024). And since my old atlas was from 1992, I was not willing to wait another year. The Oxford Atlas of the World is updated yearly (apparently the only one to be updated this frequently), and was almost half the price compared to the National Geo one at the time that I bought it. The format of the Oxford atlas is smaller than the National Geographic atlas, which means that the National Geographic maps are larger. On the other hand, at 14.2 inches tall, the Oxford atlas does fit in my bookshelf, whereas the National Geographic atlas (18.9 inches tall) would have been too large. There was one last potential issue that made me hesitate getting the Oxford atlas, and that is the one-star review of the 30th edition because of two missing index pages.
