I am using this with my nextbook 7p12 tablet and roku xd. It did not work immediately, I clicked on the app, then clicked on devices at the bottom of the screen. I entered the name roku and then entered my wifi ip address on the next line then entered save. It worked just fine after that. All buttons work well and typing is much easier on my tablet than it is on the original roku remote.

It's pretty easy to use & doesn't have the pairing issue that the Roku Stick has. However, it tends some times to really lag between selection and execution of the differ actions. Then some times it goes wild and executes several actions one right after another. I still prefer to use the RoByte Roku Remote than to fight the pairing issue with the Remote/Stick combination.
