Purchased this for reference. I majored in Accounting years ago but needed a refresher on some topics. It's a good intermediate accounting book for class or as reference. You need a binder to keep the pages together. Initially, Amazon sent one that was opened. They replaced it with a new one. The textbook is more economical in Amazon than any other website even at the colleges.

I read an older vision of this book in college. But now that I have been an accountant for about 15 years, I am reading this book and realize ---how come I didn't understand this information so clearly as I do now when I was in college. This is a good book and if you read it after being in the field for a few years, you will be smarter than your peers.
