I have been a fan of Putumayo music for well over a decade. In Arabic Beat, I was hoping to hear some of the soulful, intense and moving music I have heard the past dozen years emanating from the Arabic music scene. I was very disappointed. This CD sounds more like "Arabic Lite", or some sort of disco compilation. The drums were something I could have done in Garage Band; the singing sounded like something I would hear on an Arab Top 40 Nothing Special station. Any suggestions on a
