I was fortunate to attend a seminar that included Dr. Kory after reading this book. His physique, his movements, and his manner of speech immediately made me think that he is a brute. A smart brute, but a brute nonetheless.

I could imagine him confronted by two thugs in a dark alley and after scuffling, blows, perhaps a brief scream, seeing him emerge torn, bloody--and victorious. I am delighted that he is our brute.

In reality, the two lawless thugs are federal agencies, the FDA and the CDC and instead of an alley he fought them in the clinic, in media, in seminars, in practice and in court. His weapons were Science and Law. Because of that last victory, the one in court, the compromised agencies had to remove their ridiculous warnings about Ivermectin. Not only dishonest in substance, their warnings were ultra vires, dishonest in law in that they were never granted the power or authority to undertake the campaign they did against Ivermectin.

But why war against Ivermectin? The explanation I have come to believe is that IF Ivermectin, a cheap and safe drug used by many millions over decades, proves to be a sound treatment for Covid then it would no longer be possible to use the experimental injection called a vaccine because if any treatment is available there is no longer an Emergency and therefore no longer a legal justification for an Emergency Use Authorization. It can't be used.

Ivermectin is cheap but the Covid vaccine promises riches beyond imagination, a Cornucopia vomiting gouts of money into the accounts of the drug manufacturers while they preserve it behind a wall of immunity from any harm it might cause to those participating in the great experiment. That safe from any harm their experimental concoction may cause to the ordinary unwary person who is injured by the substance. If you have been hurt by the 'vaccine' tough luck. You have no recourse.

Why would the federal agencies go along with this scheme. When I read Kennedy's book, "The Real Anthony Fauci" I was shocked to learn that Fauci and other federal bureaucrats received royalties from the drug companies. Isn't that a conflict of interest? Seems like. To a degree, the federal agencies seem to have been captured by the businesses they are supposed to be regulating. People leave the agencies to hold comfortable and rewarding jobs in big pharma. Who would endanger that prospect by enforcing the rules too closely to protect the public?

Because of their suppression of Ivermectin, lives were being lost. Dr. Kory and many others knew it, could prove it, and tried to prove it but were against massive organizations with mountains of cash to protect.

At least three things were on the table, HCQ which worked, Ivermectin which worked, a hospital protocol established and rewarded by bureaucrats which often failed. And the last item, a very costly, new technology, an experimental substance called a 'vaccine' that was not in the least a vaccine in the traditional sense. Because of the fast production and abbreviated testing of the Covid injection it was not approved in the traditional and more or less rigorous way. Therefore, it was released as Experimental under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) and the manufacturers were granted immunity for any damages it may cause.

It was suspected early on that Ivermectin might prove to be an effective treatment for Covid because well before Covid struck Ivermectin was shown to stop coronavirus in vitro. If it could work in a tube might it work in a person? There was little risk trying it because its use for decades showed it to be a relatively benign drug safely used by millions...probably billions...in vary different environments.

Doctors actually treating patients like Dr. Fareed and Dr Tyson who wrote "Overcoming the COVID Darkness" could combine a therapeutic response with a scientific response and adjust their protocols as they saw how well their patients responded. Dr. Kory and others were doing the same thing. It's a bit like what Elon Musk is doing with rockets, try something that should work and then tinker with it to make it work better, getting feedback from the real world. All of them had remarkable success compared to what was happening in our hospitals using a top down treatment protocol dictated by bureaucrats who were not actually treating patients.

Dr. Kory with others formed the FLCCC Alliance that provides continuously updated information on how to manage Covid, and that is where my family comes in.

Using information from Dr. Fareed and Tyson at the start and then drawing extensively on Dr Kory's FLCCC Alliance information we put together a Covid Emergency Kit with HCQ and Ivermectin and a few other recommended substances like Augmentin. We consulted FLCCC to tweak the ingredients and the printed protocol from time to time.

When we were diagnosed with Delta Covid the kit came off the shelf and we began treatment at once. Within 24 hours my temperature and headache were gone and I felt good. I wondered if it were a placebo type mirage, but I will take being fooled into feeling better over feeling bad. In fact I have since encountered dozens of people using this protocol with Ivermectin who felt better within 24 hours. It wasn't a mirage. We had a pulse oximiter which we used a few times a day and our oxygen levels never fell below normal nor were unusual blood pressures seen. I had some congestion, less than with a cold, lost my appetite, and slept and read a lot for about a week and then was over it. I have since heard many others describe the same course of recovery.

One friend, a physician, wouldn't consider HCQ or Ivermectin because President Trump recommended it. He is very liberal. Following the bureaucrat protocol he waited until he was in distress, went to the hospital, was treated with Remdesivir, intubated, and then died. He is the only acquaintance of ours who died of Covid or, rather, the bureaucrat treatment for Covid. Since then, having met many others who recovered quickly with Ivermectin we have become convinced our friend would have lived if he had taken the HCQ or Ivermectin. We have seen it work too many times to doubt it.

Actively treating patients while being abused by the feds and parts of the medical establishment beholden either to federal money or big pharma money, Dr. Kory had a desperate battle on his hands. He knew beyond doubt that lives he and other doctors could save were being lost. Dr Kory never gave up. This book, War on Ivermectin, tells the tale of his struggle and that of others.
