Description

Though these works are often mistaken for photographs, Gibbons paintings are traditional oil on archival canvas. He uses real models who pose in his studio. His choice of black and white is two fold: emulating classical relief sculptures of the Greek and Roman Art. This particular work connects to the artist's Catholic upbringing and has three distinct meanings, hence the title "Trinity."
