(2)Air bubbles attached to the pointer will cause inaccurate readings.If there are bubbles remaining on the pointer, use a plastic rod to tap the pointer lightly to remove the bubbles. (3)When observing the scale of the hydrometer, make sure that the water surface is horizontal. (4)Read the specific gravity according to the inner scale, and read the salinity (ppt) according to the outer scale. It is more suitable for the specific gravity to be between 1.020-1.023(ppt value: 27-31 degrees). 3)NotePlease rinse with clean water after use.Do not disassemble the tester at will, and remove the deposits on the pointer regularly, otherwise it will affect the reading.If the salt crystallizes in the hydrometer, soak the hydrometer in warm water or vinegar for 30 minutes, then rinse with water and air dry.
