Braille made fun - for kids AND adults! The bricks in this adapted set are modeled after the classic eight-stud, 2X4 brick. Each stud represents a Braille dot, and thus there are a maximum of two columns of three studs on each Braille brick, depending on the letter or character. The print equivalent is raised slightly at the bottom, in place of the two studs that would ordinarily be found there. Each brick is blue, with yellow print at the bottom. Touch any brick and it's fast and easy to identify the Braille character it represents. The grey baseplate provides ample color contrast and the perfect way to hold your Braille blocks in place as you build. Set includes 86 Braille Bricks, as follows: Three complete alphabet sets (A through Z) Two each common symbols (Numeric Indicator and Capital Sign) One each basic punctuation marks (Hyphen, Period, Question Mark and Exclamation Mark) Plus a 10" X 10" baseplate, with 32 rows of 32 studs. Never has learning Braille been so fun! Sort through the box of bricks to find those needed to spell out your name or secret messages. Click each Braille brick onto the baseplate - or on top of structures made with other sets of bricks. You're only limited by your imagination. Now, Braille can enjoy pride of place in anything you build! Note: because they have fewer studs on top, our Braille Bricks don't snap to one another quite as firmly as bricks with all studs present. However, because their undersides are the same as any other building bricks, they do attach perfectly to baseplates or other non-Braille bricks.
