In this game you fly a spaceship which can fire various weapons. Your objective is to rescue the space pods and to destroy enemies.

Graphics are not very impressive. Colors seem washed out, the polygon count is not that great for a supposed 64-bit system, and the draw distance leaves much to be desired.

Audio is barely adequate. The opening theme music is okay, but the in-game sound effects are rather bland. And you will get tired of Skylar's voice very quickly, especially when she says "where did YOU learn to fly".

Controls are the best part of the game. The ship is easy to move, and it's easy to fire missiles and whatnot. You will need to have the Cybermorph keypad overlay over the Jaguar's 12-button keypad. This game makes full use of the Jaguar controller, including the keypad.

As the pack-in game for the Jaguar system, Cybermorph really didn't showcase the true potential of the Jaguar hardware and make the Jaguar look like a "must-buy," and this would pretty much seal the fate of the Jaguar system - and Atari Corporation - a few years after its release.

Cybermorph's sequel, Battlemorph (for the very rare Atari Jaguar CD) is a little better with enhanced gameplay elements and better audio, but the draw distance problem which plagued Cybermorph plagued Battlemorph as well.
